Quote Item Location

Setup > Preference & Costs > Quote Details > Quote Item Location

 

A quote has a manufacturing location that can determine the price book that will be used for that quote, but each line item can also have its own location based on what material is used.
Options: None,  From Location or From Product.

None

When this option is selected then the line item uses the same location as that of the quote.

From Location

This option allows the user to select the location of the item when creating the item.

From Product

The item will use the location from the product location.
Each product configuration can have a location.


When adding the item in the quote the list of location will be shown where the matching product is availble.
