Setup > Reports & Financials > Commission

Add commissions to a quote based on the sales rep assigned to the quote.

Note: Set the default Commission in the Setup > Preferences & Costs > Quote Details Screen. If a User does not have a Commission rating the default commission will be used. 

Add Commission

Name: Name of the commission

Type: Commission Type

No Commission: No commission is added to the quote

Add Commission: The commission is calculated based on the Total Price of the quote and then added to the quote.

Commission Percentage: The percentage that is used to calculate the commission.

Assign Commission to user.

Edit the user and select the commission that should be used for that user.

Apply Commission to Quote 

When a Sales Rep is assigned to a quote, the commission structure that is assigned to the Sales Rep will be applied to the quote. 

The Commission will be displayed on the line item.

The Total Commission will also be displayed in the Quote Detail view.
